The blog comment post should include two detailed paragraphs to explain the importance of the Constitution. Students should complete this blog post by Sunday, October 28, 2012 by 12:00 a.m. Students should then comment to at least (2) two of their classmates blog post by Monday October 29, 2012by 12:00a.m.

ReplyDeleteIt is called supreme law of the land because all other forms of government within the country and all legislation passed by individual states and their local districts must not pass laws that supercede the rights and laws of the Federal Government. The founding fathers got their ideas to create the Constitution by using their historical knowledge of Greece, Rome, and England as well as their own political experience. The republic government is that form of government in which the administration of affairs is open to all the citizens. Democracy is a form of government in which all eligible citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. A democratic government is the government by the people, exercised either directly or through elected representatives. One of the branches of government is the judicial branch it is to interpret the constitution. The Legislative Branch makes the laws and the Executive Branch makes laws official. The important principles of the Constitution are Popular Sovereignty,Limited Government,Separation of Powers, Checks and Balances,Judicial Review, and Federalism.
